1xBet, which already offers a Mongolian language interface, has added several new regional banking partners that accept MNT-denominated deposits from players outside Mongolia. The change addresses a pain point for Mongolian-speaking bettors resident in countries like Kazakhstan, Russia, and parts of the EU who hold MNT-denominated accounts.
What changed
The new partners enable deposits in MNT that are automatically converted to the account currency at mid-market rates, with a small margin added. For bettors who previously had to route MNT through a USD or EUR exchange step, this cuts conversion cost and settlement time.
Important caveat
The March 2025 Mongolian ban on paid betting means players physically resident in Mongolia remain unable to use the service legally. This update is specifically for Mongolian speakers living abroad who hold MNT-denominated accounts at regional banks.
