How We Rank

Our seven-category scoring framework, the weights, and how to read the scores.

The framework

Every operator is scored on seven categories. Each sub-score is on a 1-5 scale. The overall rating is a weighted average.

What we score in each category

Bonus (25%)

Welcome offer value after wagering adjustment, reload offers, VIP and rakeback, free bet terms.

Odds (20%)

Odds compared against Pinnacle and the market median on a sample of tier-1 football, tennis, and basketball matches.

Payment (15%)

Payment method variety, deposit speed, withdrawal speed, fees, minimums.

Sports variety (15%)

Sports covered, market depth per sport, niche sport and esports coverage.

Platform (10%)

Website performance, mobile web experience, app availability and quality.

Live betting (10%)

In-play market depth, bet acceptance speed, live streaming, cash out.

Support (5%)

Response time, resolution quality, live chat availability.

Why these weights

Bonus and odds together drive 45% of the score because they determine actual monetary value for bettors. Payment, variety, and platform are secondary but important. Live and support weigh less because they vary less meaningfully between operators of this calibre.

Category-specific lists

Our 'best-for' pages re-weight these categories for the specific use case. For example, our Best Crypto Betting Sites list weights payment quality heavily.
